JT LOUX
“’The Eagle’ is a song about the idea of complete freedom, the three main characters in the song, an Eagle, a Soldier, and an Angel, all have their own struggles in finding their path to physical and spiritual freedom.”
-JT Loux.
LOUX is a new cutting edge rock band formed in early 2020 and fronted by lead singer/songwriter JT Loux (Age 20). With the addition of drummer Zach Cook (Age 19), and bassist Ethan Pecha (Age 22), the group has set out to create their own style of modern rock music. Combining JT Loux’s songwriting, aggressive singing and melodic guitar playing, Zach Cook’s heavy hitting drumming, and Ethan Pecha’s thunderous bass tone, these three musicians create the massive sound of LOUX the band. Teaming up with Frank Hannon as producer, the outfit has written and recorded a new full length LP along with their single ‘The Eagle’ set to release this summer.
The sound of LOUX can be described as an aggressive approach to the rock that you know and love. The band has been working non stop on the development of harmonies. The mixture of both Zach and Ethan vocals have opened up endless opportunities for unique sounding melodies and harmonies. Pulling inspiration from modern bands such as Royal Blood, Dirty Honey, Rival Sons and Joyous Wolf. LOUX also loves to implement the sound of classic bands such as The Doors, Alice in Chains, Led Zeppelin, and Jimi Hendrix. Originally starting out as a solo artist the project was named ‘JT LOUX’ but with the addition of Drummer Zach Cook and Bassist Ethan Pecha the group felt that the music put off more of a “Band” vibe so they decided to simplify it to ‘LOUX.’
